Rafał Wąż holds a master’s degree in philosophy. His thesis focused on the possibility and impossibility of Immanuel Wallerstein’s utopistics in current academia and political landscape. He is currently studying sociology at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. His research interests include critical theory, issues of the common in higher education, and the political role of academia in the current stage of capitalism. At SCRG, Rafał is working on the project Predatory publishing practices: Paper tigers or actual threats from evaluation systems?.
