Kalina Kwiecień is an MA student of English and Russian philologies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. In her bachelor’s thesis she reviewed the different approaches to translating English musicals into Russian for subtitles and for the stage. Currently, for her MA theses, she is researching the topic of figurative language and metaphor, as well as strategies employed in their translation. At SCRG she works in “Investigating the Relationship between Science Diplomacy and Global DGT: The Role of Inclusive Metascience Observatories” led by prof. Emanuel Kulczycki.
