Federico Vasen is a researcher at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and a collaborator with the SCRG at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of Buenos Aires and a PhD in Social Sciences from the National University of Quilmes. He completed postdoctoral research at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and Arizona State University as a Fulbright Scholar. His research interests include science and technology policy, research evaluation systems, and higher education studies. Currently, he is part of the SCRG team working on ‘predatory’ publishing practices.
