Anastasia Shabalina has been finishing a doctoral dissertation at the Institute of Philosophy and Law of Russian Academy of Science at Akademogorodok, Novosibirsk. During her research stay at SCRG AMU she worked on the project Evaluation Game in Academia, where she was collecting archival materials on the Soviet regimes of evaluation of science.

Anastasia graduated from Krasnoyarsk Pedagogical University and studied MA in history (specialisation: archivist).
