Polish Humanities in the face of the Challenges of Scientometrics

The project aims to investigate how the social sciences and humanities are defined within science policy and how they are evaluated through various scientometric indicators in Poland. We investigate whether the SSH can be evaluated through the bibliometrics indicators and how Polish SSH scholars adapt to the bibliometrics assessment.

Emanuel Kulczycki is the Principal Investigator. Aneta Drabek, Ewa A. Rozkosz are Investigators. Marek Hołowiecki is a coordinator.

The project is financed by the National Programme for the Development of Humanities in Poland (decision number 0057/NPHR3/H11/82/2014) and has been scheduled for four years: we started in September 2014 and will finish the work by the end of 2018.
